School Supplies & the FREEBIE Trail

Like most teachers, I LoVe school supplies. I love perusing, browsing, contemplating, buying, and purchasing school supplies! Who doesn't?!? Right? I was beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to review MPM School Supplies.

I had a great time surfing through the site. It was super easy to find what I was looking for, and there is a fantastic selection! I appreciate that the site is super easy to navigate. You know what I loved? After I put something in my cart, a pop up slides up. . . when you click "Continue Shopping", it just fades away! I love that! I don't know about you, but sometimes when I'm shopping online, I get kind of annoyed at the clicking and clicking to get back to where I was shopping. I loved that this site was so easy to navigate!

The service was awesome. I got my order in just THREE days! That is just a great big, huge, awesome bonus, because their prices were great! I found the prices extremely competitive. Let's just say this was a very pleasant shopping experience, and when I shop online for school supplies, I will most likely be shopping at MPM for supplies from now on. No lie!

So-- check out what I got. . . Can you tell that I'm already thinking about next year? Yep! I'm going all "Dots on Turquoise" next year! How many others are already thinking about next year? lol

Here's some GREAT news for you!! MPM is offering 10% to the first 10 people who purchase through this link! Click on over and check it out!!

Are you still hoppin' down that FREEBIE trail with us?! The trail doesn't end until Saturday!! Keep on hoppin'! Today's stops begin with Extra Special Teaching. Start there & hop away!! Get those baskets ready!!

Facebook fan FREEBIE & Blog Hoppin' Fun!!

My kiddos are ready to move beyond thinking about area as just 'counting up the squares' to thinking about it as an array. It's important that once they understand that area is the measurement of how much an object holds (like square inches or square centimeters), that they begin seeing area and how it relates to multiplication or addition. I designed this activity to help them move from counting to that concept.

Facebook fans, this is a FREEBIE just for you!!! Not a face book fan yet? No problem, just click like over there on the right and head over to Facebook to snag this freebie!

Have you had your fill of freebies yet? Okay--- that was just rhetorical....I know that we never have enough freebies! Hahaha! There are a couple of fabulous blog hops going on that I'm a part of. Have you started hopping yet?

Spring Break Bucket List Check In

Since I'm halfway through my Spring Break, I thought now would be a good time to check the status of my Spring Break Bucket List.

First, I want to share a couple pics from something that was NOT on my  bucket list (so I guess I can count this in place of some of the things I did NOT get done right?! lol). On Monday, we went to an animal rescue and got to hold a baby bear and a baby lion! How cool is that?!? My little girls were just thrilled. I mean, look at that! That is a real bear!

At the Children's Museum
  1. Sleep in!! Can't wait. . . I'm still trying to adjust to Spring Forward. Daylight Savings Time is NOT my friend! Check!
  2. Try at least 2 new recipes. Hmm. Not yet.
  3. See at least 3 movies.1 down, 2 to go!
  4. Take my babies to the Children's Museum Check! And going back again next week!
  5. Organize my mom's bills into a system that works for me (I've taken over her bills due to Alzheimer's).Whoops....procrastinating on this one!
  6. Do a little bit of spring cleaning. I know. . . BLEH. But it has to be done. I'm thinking about actually scheduling it in. . .maybe setting a specific amount of time. . .set a timer for X minutes, and when it gets goes off, walk away until the next time cleaning is in the schedule. For some reason, that makes it seem a little more palatable. Well-- I did say a LITTLE BIT, so I guess technically I could mark this off....but honestly, I plan to do some more.
  7. Make those phone calls I haven't been able to make. Boy- a teacher's schedule just doesn't match up well with doctors offices! Check!
  8. Catch up on some blogging. I'm really liking those blogging planners I've been seeing recently!
  9. Do some planning for this last 9 weeks.Does the planning I've done in my head count?
  10. Sleep in! Oh-- did I say that already? Check! Unfortunately, I'm also staying up SUPER late, so I think I'm kinda negating the sleeping in.
I HAVE been catching up on some blogging. . . . just kind of behind the scenes. I've got some super exciting things that are going to be happening! We're going to be doing some SERIOUS blog hoppin! Tomorrow, stop by and find out about a hippity blog hop and then again on Saturday morning, we're going to start ZIPPIN' down the freebie trail!

Somebunny Loves Your Blog

Christina over at Bunting, Books, and Bainbridge has come up with a fabulous idea for a linky...and a super cute linky button! Love it!

I want to give a shout out to my sweet bloggy friend Irene. If you haven't been over to Learning with Mrs. Leeby, you need to get over there! I love reading her posts. She has such great ideas and posts tons of freebies! I also "like" her on facebook.....she actually inspired me to start my facebook page. I just really appreciate Irene & her blog. If you haven't been there, head on over there & show her some bloggy love!

Spring Break Bucket List Linky

We just started our Spring Break Friday. As of today, I have 11 days left to relax and get energize! (But who's counting? lol). I'm linking up with Brigid's Daily Lesson Log's linky. I have so many things I want to get done! Getting it all down in black & white will help make it official.

We're staying at home for Break & my goal is to keep it low-key and relaxing. Nevertheless, I still have a laundry list of things I want to do and get done. So here are my Top 10:

  1. Sleep in!! Can't wait. . . I'm still trying to adjust to Spring Forward. Daylight Savings Time is NOT my friend!
  2. Try at least 2 new recipes.
  3. See at least 3 movies.
  4. Take my babies to the Children's Museum
  5. Organize my mom's bills into a system that works for me (I've taken over her bills due to Alzheimer's).
  7. Make those phone calls I haven't been able to make. Boy- a teacher's schedule just doesn't match up well with doctors offices!
  8. Catch up on some blogging. I'm really liking those blogging planners I've been seeing recently!
  9. Do some planning for this last 9 weeks.
  10. Sleep in! Oh-- did I say that already?

I'm also linking up with All Things Upper Elementary and having a Spring Fever Sale!
