Monday Made It ~ Celebrating the 4th!

I have two non-classroom related Made Its today...
First up.....my small town had an Old Fashioned Fourth down on our town square. It was just a wonderful evening.....fish fry, homemade ice cream, games and activities for the little ones, a concert on the bandstand (yes-- it's an old-fashioned gazebo!), and even fireworks to end the evening. There was even an old-fashioned kiddy parade around the square! You know the kind where kids decorate their bikes and wagons? So much fun!

We turned my granddaughters wagon into a hot air balloon! I certainly can't take the credit for the idea...I just happened across an idea on Pinterest (of course). It took us a couple hours, but it was worth it. The babies just adore it and we still are pulling them in it.

Here is a link to the original pin....

My next Made Its come from the kitchen. I'm sorta proud of them, but it's probably something you have done lots of times...

I made a trifle. Mmmmmmmm. Sooo good.

Now I'm off to get some inspiration from all other link ups over at 4th Grade Frolics! Yippee! I love Mondays!
